Story Board

· Minimum of 8 drawings or photographs
· Minimum or 40 words per picture
· Board should represent a chronological retelling of the novel
· Include title, author, setting, characters, plot, theme, conflict and either irony or foreshadowing
Sequel Narrative
· After reading an approved novel, write an original 400 word story on what happens at the conclusion of your novel.
Multi-Media Presentation
· Use Xtranormal or Photo Story to summarize a novel. Xtranormal must be 3 minutes long. Photo Story must be at least 12 slides.
· Movie – Make a movie detailing a scene from a novel you have read. The movie should be 4-5 minutes long and should include an intro to help explain what is being portrayed.

16 ‘pages’: 4 sheets folded in half, then stapled together to look like a book
· Creative, eye-catching cover

· Spread the story over the internal 10 pages, in 16 point font
· Content
· Pictures can be used, but are not required

Author Studies
Author Poster

· Author’s name
· 50 word biography of your author; bullet points acceptable /30
· 100 word essay on why you chose this author /30
· 50 word summary of one novel /20
· List of minimum of 5 works by your poet /10
· Minimum of 2 pictures /10
You may also do this project as a PowerPoint, with a minimum of 12 slides.
Author imitation
· Dress up as chosen author
· Read and be prepared to discuss 2 novels; have copies of both
· Create biography notecards
· Possess at least 3 props relevant to your author
Projects will be judged on spelling, accuracy, neatness and overall professional appearance
**Power Points should include audio effects. No slide should contain more than 30 words.
